Begin with your course
Choose the course that matches your subject, level and exam board. Lessons are organised within that course, so use the course’s topic and lesson labels to find the material you need.
Content and features vary between courses and lessons. A simulation, worked example or language option available in one lesson may not be included in another.
Work through the explanation
Lessons present ideas in short visual cards. Read the explanation, study the diagrams and use the checkpoints that appear to test your understanding.
Pause when an idea is unclear. Revisit the relevant card or ask the tutor about that specific step rather than moving on only because you have reached the end of the screen.
Explore an interactive visual
Where a lesson includes a simulation, use its controls to change a quantity and observe the result. A graph, diagram or animation can help you connect a formula to what it describes.
Try changing one control at a time. Predict what will happen first, then explain what you observed. Interacting with a simulation does not by itself mean that a question has been answered or marked.

Study an example, then try independently
Worked examples, where provided, show an approach to solving a problem. Follow why each step is taken rather than only reading the final answer.
After studying the example, attempt a practice question without copying the solution. Use the question’s feedback to decide whether to revisit the explanation or try another problem.
