What shapes your plan
Your exam date and pathway decide which lessons need to fit before the exam. Your weekly study goal, chosen study days, session lengths and optional start times decide when those lessons can be placed. If you choose a module order, the unfinished lessons follow that order.
Each lesson has an estimated length. The planner fits whole lessons into the time available on each selected day, so a day may contain one lesson, several shorter lessons, or no lesson when the remaining time is too short for the next activity.
Reading the study map and calendar
The study map shows the planned start and end of each paper or module and your progress through it. The calendar shows the individual lesson activities on their scheduled days. Reviews are shown separately because they follow their own review timing rather than the lesson schedule.
Your next activity is the next unfinished lesson in the current plan. Completing a different lesson first is allowed; the completed lesson is recorded even when it was not next in the planned order.
What happens when you adjust the plan
Adjusting your plan rebuilds the future schedule for unfinished lessons from your next available study day. It uses your new exam date, study time, days, session lengths, start times and module order.
Lessons you completed stay complete and are not scheduled again, including lessons you finished early or out of order. If you started a lesson but did not finish it, your progress within that lesson stays recorded and the unfinished lesson receives a new future slot.
Exact dates or times you manually set for unfinished lessons can change when the plan is rebuilt. Completed lesson history and spaced reviews are not removed or reordered by a lesson-plan adjustment.
- Choose Adjust in your study map.
- Review or change your exam date, weekly time, study days and course order.
- Check the final summary and save.
- Open the refreshed calendar to see the new dates for your unfinished lessons.
When the plan needs adjustment
A plan fits only when every required unfinished lesson can be scheduled in your selected sessions before the exam. If there is not enough time, the planner tells you how many lessons still need study time.
Choose a later exam date, add study time, select more days, or make sessions longer. The change is checked before it is saved, so a plan that does not fit does not replace your existing schedule.
Changing one lesson instead
You do not need to rebuild the whole plan to change one unfinished lesson. In the expanded calendar, drag the lesson to another day or use its menu to set an exact date and time.
A later full-plan adjustment may schedule that unfinished lesson again according to the new settings. Finished lessons remain part of your completed history.
